For ages, human beings have always felt a need of sacrum, of perfect, higher creature who they called a god. In the different cultures, on the different continents people had a great adulation for something they believed is the omni-power. Then the word was dominated by some main religions like Christianity , Buddhism . The time passing, the religion became topped by science that experienced its constant development. Many people lost their belief.
Nowadays, one can observe a growing number of people declaring to be atheists. However we can not neglect the myriad pilgrims going even many times a year to visit a holly places of their religions. This people are strong believers and adepts who proliferate the sacred ideas and ways they follow.
Another evidence that the need for religion is not diminishing in our time is the constant presence of people at the church. It is important to say that it doesnt mean a rare visit once a weak. Churches in every single city all over the world are full of people every day. It is especially visible nowadays after the death of the pope Paul John the second.
To conclude, in spite of the development and the modernisation, people are always the same. It is not true that our spirits had changed. In our hearts, in our deepest spheres of humanity we have the needs exactly the same as our ancestors. Among these needs there is a profound need of religion as well.
